My name is Julie, and I enjoy helping students develop their writing and reading skills in unique ways. I want students to love these skills, but if that's not possible, I at least want them to develop confidence in their writing and reading skills. I also help students develop test taking skills and effective strategies for test preparation. Subjects I tutor include English through the college level, literature, writing, critical reading, English composition, poetry, essays, and test preparation for the SAT, ACT, PSAT, SSAT, ISEE, HSPT, and others. In my free time, I like to read and write, cook, exercise, get outside in nature, and travel. I also enjoy art.
